14 April, 2021Twelve prestigious apartments have been created from Palazzo Stefanelli, located in one of the main streets on the north-south axis of the historic center of Florence. The building is part of the historic fabric of the city and derives from an enlargement carried out in the first half of the nineteenth century by Oreste Stefanelli. Stefanelli merged the starting building with two terraced houses then existing on the sides of the building.
The designed spaces aim to enhance the tradition, as evidenced by the care taken in the restoration of structural elements such as beams and trusses or the numerous frescoes that decorate the ceilings of the rooms. These strongly characterizing elements have been added to contemporary furnishings and sometimes to reinterpretations of classic characters in an extremely modern way.
