The design of this building aims to reminds the form of a turbine, pride and jewel of the production of General Electric. The building appears to twist around a central axis while maintaining a constant internal plant on three levels, connected to each other between stairs and lifts. On the façade there are elements made up of a steel frame and a frosted glass plate, which are emulating and remembering the thousands of slats that make up the rotating heart of the turbine, the ribbon windows, running along the entire perimeter of the building , giving inside a well-lit environments. The main goal was to try to give an image of technological innovation, creating an avant-garde building with pleasant interiors and with spacious spaces respecting the rules of energy saving and innovative building.
